1. WATER REMOVAL
The first step is to remove the standing water, and to remove all wet materials that may have absorbed water

2. DRY OUT

High moisture levels in the air can cause paint to peel, building materials to warp, and mold to grow in areas even if they remained untouched by water. 3. WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION
Before you start repairing damage, you’ll need to get your home tested by a water damage contractor to ensure that it is completely dry. Once they give the go ahead, the damage remediation company will typically start by removing baseboards and drilling holes along the bottom of the walls to facilitate the dying of the wall cavities.
